BOMBER JACKETS

Bomber jackets are trendy outerwear pieces for spring 2017. Bombers can be worn in many ways, plus there are lots of amazing designs, starting from the classics, like MA1 flight jackets, vintage designs to silk-satin versions embroidered and printed ones. Scroll through this gallery to see various ways you can wear your bomber this spring.

Here are several of my bomber jackets and how I choose to style them:

The details on this jacket are what initially drew me to it.  I love the silk fabric and the embroidery both in the front and the back.  As you know from previous posts, embroidery is on trend as is floral.  The bonus is that the jacket is reversible and be worn two ways!  Originally this jacket was $120.  I got it on sale for $69.99!

Here is my other bomber jacket.  I was drawn to this jacket because it was on trend with the patches!  I love when I can find two trends on one item!  This jacket also looks cute styled with a striped shirt.  Stripes also continue to be on trend!  Which way do you prefer it?

Here are some more styling options!

A Proven Winner – The Perfect Graphic Tee!

A graphic tee under a jacket is such a fun look.  It is a great choice for the office on casual  Friday, a lunch date with the girls or for a date night with your special someone.  I was out shopping with my FTF partner in crime at the  Chico’s Girlfriend Event and we fell in love with this Chic Happens Tee.   The material has gone through something called a burnout fabrication process which makes it a little stiffer so it so that it doesn’t cling.  The cut is generous but not so much that it looks boxy and it flows away from the waist. It is the perfect tee for someone like me with a chubby middle!  If you have been looking to add a graphic tee to your wardrobe and like me you have a little chub your trying to hide I highly recommend this one.  Plus it is on sale right now.  It’s a proven winner!

BOLD RUFFLES

According to In Style, architectural ruffles build the foundation of a dramatic evening look. These stiff, austere waves are more modern than the floppier furls of past seasons, making this feminine detail feel new again.

HOW TO WEAR IT
Ruffles act as their own accessory, so there’s no need to take out your jewels. Maybe you’re a little worried about incorporating ruffled pieces into your wardrobe, but trust Fashion Trends and Friends they look amazing on everything from tops and jackets, to even pants and shoes!
