Noella Eye Cream

I purchased the Noella eye cream from a boutique called Soap Stories in Charleston, South Carolina.  Unfortunately they do not sell online.  You have to buy the product from the store.  So for those of you in that area of the country check them out.  The address is 218 King St, Charleston, SC 29401

I was visiting my sister in Charleston Oct 2022. We got lured into the shop like others and long story short I spent over 3K for the perfector wand and Noella products. I was promised free product, just call when I need it. I had buyers remorse. Too good to be true I guess. The salesperson,
SARA will not respond to me. I truly made a mistake and a very expensive one it seems. Eventually maybe I will make contact somehow. We’ll see.

Bought same product in NOLA NYE. Hard sell with soap samples, paid $200.00 but got moisturizer and face wash. Just started using it. I will see. It was a real hard sell for the LED $6000.00 stim. Tool for the face.
I think we spent an hour in the store. Is this a mid eastern scam?

    • FTF says:

      Hi Laurie,

Thanks for sharing your experience! Lori was there on a vacation when she made the purchase. Since we live in the midwest, we don’t know much more about the store or their products.

I haven’t used any of my products. I bought everything in Greenville, SC. I think they saw sucker on my forehead. I walked out with over $2,000 in product! I don’t really know how to use part of it. I actually hoped to return it to the store. But, I was taking care of my brother who has cancer. I made the mistake of telling the sales lady I was out of town. I feel like I was taken advantage of. My advice is to not let anyone rush you into buying a product by enticing you with gimmicks such as miracle demonstrations or instant reductions in prices. You’ll probably feel scammed later.

    • FTF says:

      Hi Stephanie!

So sorry to hear about your brother and the fact that you feel taken advantage off! Hopefully, your comments and recommendations will assist others! Keeping you in my thoughts!

My name is Laura and I am a target for these kind of things. While in Charleston yesterday I was lured in by the soap also, I purchased it and received an exfoliating serum also. I did notice the white later , but after one use I think it’s amazing. I will definitely use it for special occasions considering the price .. why not?!

  5. Heather H says:

I had the same experience, soap samples and all – but in New Orleans! They lured me in with soap, but then had us sit down and did our eyes. Well, one eye each! It was noticeable so I was suckered in as well. But they reduced it by $50 I think, since I was on the fence. I am now out of it. I think it did work some so I was looking online to find it again when I saw this blog. Now I am interested in the other product – the simply ageless or whatever… would you still recommend it??

    • FTF says:

      Hi Heather!

I believe Lori used her product sparingly (saved it for special occasions) so that it lasted longer. She did not reorder it nor has she used any of their other products. Let us know if you try something else and if you liked it or not.

The same thing happen to me and my boyfriend. We were lured in after telling them we weren’t interested. They gave us some samples of some soap I thought I was getting bag to put soap in and the next thing I knew I was sitting down getting this cream put under eye and holding a fan to dry. It worked in store but does leave a white film. We tried the product without a fan blowing the cool air and nothing happened. Wr were scammed. I was so mad. Stay away from that street in Charleston.

  7. Deb says:

I read that Soap Stories Inc was permanently closed on King Street. Have they moved to a different location on Market Street?

    Re: Noelle Cosmetics purchase

      • Deb says:

Thank you Julie! I did some digging and I bought mine in Charleston at a store called Rachel’s Boutique. I am just not sure how/when to use it. Do you only use it at night without regular moisturizer or do you use it in the morning under your makeup? Any tips would help.

        • FTF says:

          Hi Deb!

Glad you were able to track it down in Charleston! I don’t own the product. My partner Lori is the one who purchased it and blogged about it. It is my understanding that since it’s so expensive she saves using it for special occasions and puts it on under her makeup. You probably need to figure out what works best for your needs. Hope that helps you!

          • FTF says:

            Hi Deb,

Lori said that she would moisturize her face first, let that soak in and fully dry and the apply the serum. This is what worked well for her.

We got pulled in the store near the market today December 14 2022. I can’t remember what the shop was called. The eye wrinkle filler did work like magic. The puffiness under my eye went away immediately. I did have a tingling and slightly numbing sensation for about an hour and then the sensation went away. And I had a dried film that I brushed off later. I did not bye any since we were rushed for an appointment. I was trying to find out more about the product before I bought any. It looks like the ingredients are a secret?

    • Monica Wheeler says:

They have 2 shops on the same street in New Orleans. I was just there over new years 2024. I bought the red light device and product and a discount. They are supposed to be shipping it to me.. I am praying that I am not being scammed like everyone else..

      • FTF says:

        Hi Monica!

I hope you’re blessed with your new products and get the results you desire. Keep us posted!

I bought the product in Charleston. I could have sworn that the product was clear that they sucked me in with. Opened when returned home to NY and it is kind of gold/brownish out of the tube and does not seem to do anything.. Is is supposed to be clear? Did I get suckered? Please comment.

    • FTF says:

      Hi Lisa,

The tube I have is kind of opaque not clear. I wouldn’t describe it as gold or brown. Also, I applied a dab of the product and felt the tightening right away and my product is old. Hope this helps!

    • Amanda Compton says:

I bought from same place in Charleston over the weekend. It’s the same pinkish/brownish color as in the store. I had dramatic results in the store and nothing now! I feel like I got scammed. She wiped under my eyes with a pad first which makes me wonder what was on the pad?? I’ve heard of people using Preporation H under their eyes and it comes in a pad form…just saying

      • Melissa says:

I had exactly the same experience! I’m almost positive she used a different short acting product in store than she sold us. And even told us the wrong way to use the product compared to the Noella site. Now I wonder if what was sold to me at “such a great price” is a scam!

    • Lorna says:

My friend and I were just given a demo in Charleston and it’s not clear- it’s a goldish color. The demo worked but I like to research items that make such great statements, especially when the price is so high.

      • FTF says:

        Hi Lorna!

Yes, investigating/researching a product before purchasing especially when something is costly is probably a very good idea!

  9. Sharon D. says:

I purchased some in Charleston as well. It works so well. I use it when I want to look better around my eyes and cheek area they should make it in a jar. .

    • FTF says:

      Hi Sharon!

Glad to hear you’re liking it and it’s working well! Lori saves hers for special occasions since it’s so expensive! We appreciate you stopping by and leaving us a comment!

  10. Marcia Thompson says:

Hello , I just bought some in New Orleans this past week. I paid $300 for the syringe and got some moisturizer and bar of soap for “free”. I wanted to see if after 2 years you see a difference?
I was told to apply 1x a week at bedtime bc this way the product will have time to sink in and you are not as animated with moving your face at night so the effects will be better.

I guess I wonder why they say to us 1x a week when on their website it says you can use more – I figure if long term build up why not use more often? I was told the syringe at 1x a week will last 1 year.

    Thanks, Marcia

    • FTF says:

      Hi Marcia:

Due to the expense of the product I took the approach of using it when needed. Big nights out, special occasions, when wanting to look my best. So I can’t tell you if it improves with weekly use.

I do however love the temporary results and use it still. My only complaint with the product is the white chalky film if over-applied.

I would love to hear your feedback if you decide to apply once a week to learn if that is in fact the better approach.

      All the best,

      Lori

  11. Annie says:

I bought the same product, pretty much the same exact way! Husband details and all Lol. But, I have to say at 33 with puffy under eyes, it works miracles for me. I’ve been using it ab 2 months now and can tell a HUGE difference. I even quit wearing makeup bc my face finally looks fresh again!

    • FTF says:

      Hi Annie,

That’s funny that you ended up with the same exact situation. At 33, you’re still very young! Glad to hear it’s working so well! It always feels great to look fresh! Thanks for dropping us a comment!

  12. Lucia Beaumont says:

Hi, i just bought mine in Charleston SC last week. As you said, i was sucked in or better lured in. I used it only the time they put it on me. After almost a week the effects of it are gone. I paid $250 and i received a bottle of INTROSTEM a stem cell facial toner with it.
Thanks for the tip of putting it around my lips, I’ll try it today. They said it will last 2 years, to apply once a week and after 4 weeks once a month. Lets hope it really works and it really lasts a while. What are your thoughts after these many months?

    • FTF says:

      Hi Lucia,

I did use it weekly and then monthly. I used the product when I want to look my best! I like the way I look when I use it. But it is temporary. So I can’t truly comment on how it looks after regular applications. Sorry!

      Lori

    Hi Lori and July
I just brought 3 Noella Products, wrinkle filler, age defying eye serum and complete nourishing cream, they gave us 2 beautiful soap. for 545$ in Royal Bee in Market St Shay 843-460-7876, very nice girl. Now we are going to use to see how result.

    • FTF says:

  14. Karen says:

I bought the Noella this weekend in Charleston, I am 63 and a smoker and it definitely helped some of the lines and the circles around my eyes. Since it has only been a few days I can’t tell you the long term results, but I hope in 3 months I will see a big difference.

    • FTF says:

      Karen,

Would love to hear about and see you results in several months! Thanks for sharing your immediate results!

Are y’all still using products? I went by a store on king street Charleston sc call adore n they lured me in as well and product was called Noella it was 199.00 so I want to know is it still working for y’all before I decide to buy it

    Becky

    • FTF says:

      Hi Becky:

That is the same name of the product I bought. My came in a black and gold syringe. I do still use it, like it and I think it works well. I like it a lot. The only thing I find challenging is using the right amount. If I apply too much it leaves a white film. But if applied correctly and allowed to dry it works great! I apply it in the morning and it lasts for the day. I paid $400.00 for 11g/0.39oz. I hope that answers your question!

      Lori

  16. Beth M. says:

Have you guys heard of/tried Roloxin? I think it’s similar — also leaves the white film, but you can feel it doing something. Good luck!!

    • FTF says:

      Hi Beth,

No I haven’t heard of or tried Roloxin. We’ll have to check it out! Where do you get it?

      Thanks!
